- What is Citewell?
- Citewell is software that asks ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Grok the same buyer questions each week and records whether your brand was named. It also drafts pages, replies and emails you can publish yourself. It does not promise a ranking or a citation.
- Which engines does Citewell track?
- Citewell covers five engines: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Grok, all queried live through their official APIs. Citewell does not scrape any of them.
- How often does Citewell run?
- Paid workspaces get a weekly scheduled run (Monday morning, Europe/London) for every brand, plus a handful of on-demand re-runs per calendar month (UTC) that scale with your tier. Trial workspaces run on demand only, one run during the seven days; the automated weekly schedule starts once you subscribe.
- What are Act drafts?
- When a prompt does not name you, Citewell writes a page draft, a community reply, an outreach email, a profile checklist for review sites and directories, or GEO hygiene files (robots allowlists, FAQ schema, and an optional llms.txt). You copy and publish them. Citewell does not post to your site, Reddit, or email on your behalf.
- What does the trial include?
- £79 a month (GBP) to start. 7-day trial, card required to start. Trial caps: 1 brand, 20 active prompts, 1 on-demand run, 200 live engine calls. The weekly automated schedule and the rest of the paid caps start once you subscribe. See Pricing for the three tiers.
- Why are there three paid tiers?
- Starter, Growth and Agency differ only in how many brands you can run, how many on-demand re-runs you get a month, and the monthly live-engine-call ceiling. Active prompts per brand (40), the weekly schedule, and every other feature are identical across all three. See Pricing for exact numbers.
- Does Citewell auto-post or guarantee a mention?
- No. You do the publishing. Citewell records whether you were named after the next run. There is no ranking guarantee and no claim that a crowd of agencies already use this.
